Fresh Ideas Start Here launches new FISHbar
Starting today, July 24, 2017, enjoy the freshest local catch with all the fixings at Fresh Ideas Start Here’s (F.I.S.H.) brand new FISHbar, located inside both seafood market locations at #180–7515 Market Crossing in Burnaby and 2959 West Broadway in Kitsilano.
From locally caught wild BC sockeye salmon and smoked wild BC coho, to west-coast octopus and Pacific hand-line-caught yellowfin tuna, FISHbar features an array of Ocean Wise sashimi grade seafood. Premium additions include shoyu ikura, smoked uni (available in the fall), and herring roe on kelp, all signature F.I.S.H. products.
“Over the past year or so, we noticed that our patrons have been looking for more ready-to-eat and customizable to-go options,” explains Jenice Yu, owner of Fresh Ideas Start Here. “Our new FISHbar really allows anyone to personalize their own protein-filled seafood ‘bowl’, almost like a build-your-own poke bar. However, it’s definitely much more than that. It’s a great option for lunch, for a snack, or even for a light dinner. And the whole process is quick and easy.”
Customers can also choose from a variety of daily-made items, such as stuffed inari pockets and a variety of hand-pressed onigiri, along with popular Japanese drinks.
FISHbar is open daily from 11:00 a.m. until closing. Prices start at $7 with introductory specials until July 31, 2017.
