Milano Coffee Roasters Celebrates Turk's Coffee Bar's 20 Years on 'The Drive' and Coffee Inspired Long Table Dinner

It's all in the family. Parent company, Milano Roasters, marks Turks's Coffee Bar's 20th Anniversary. Milano Owner and President, Linda Turko, established Turk's Coffee Bar on Vancouver's world famous Commercial Drive in 1997 and it quickly became a much loved, award-winning staple of 'The Drive' with its Italian soul and West Coast vibe.

On September 30th, The Drive's first ever, "indie coffee bar" throws it back to celebrate 20 years in business. The team at Turk's invites their loyal fans and followers to join the celebrations by stopping in to enjoy a cup of coffee that started it all. Coffee will be served in Turk's famed Commercial Drive "character" cups and at 1997 prices.  Visitors will also enjoy a DJ, cake and more. Turk's Coffee Bar is located at 1276 Commercial Drive and is open from 6:30am to 11:00pm.

The legacy of Vancouver based Milano Coffee's artisan tradition dates back three generations of Italian coffee heritage blended with 30 years of West Coast culture. Brian and Linda Turko, partners in business and life, have been at the helm since 2003 and have since opened five Milano Coffee Bars, as well as the original Turk's Coffee Bar on Commercial Drive. Here they began the trend of offering more than one espresso bean blend, and now offer up to eight different espressos at any given time. Milano is dedicated to sourcing, hand roasting - all done by owners Brian Turko and Barry Henry - and blending each of their espressos. Milano Coffee has locations in Vancouver, Toronto and Comox. Milano Coffee blends can also be purchased online
